Do any of these sound familiar? Click to find strategies to overcome these barriers.
The most common excuse to not being active is lack of time. Did you know that physical activity can be done in bouts of 10 minutes or more? Throughout HAT TRICK you will be provided with creative strategies to fit those bouts of exercise into your daily life.
A common misconception is that you must empty your wallet to buy the “healthy” stuff. HAT TRICK will help you tackle healthy grocery shopping, label reading, and how to look past popular product buzz words.
Throughout HAT TRICK we will discuss how to make physical activity fun and help you stay on track with your active living goals. Exercising releases endorphins - hormones that trigger feelings of positivity and happiness.
Plan ahead with healthy snacks so you aren’t drawn to the fast-food option when you are on the road. HAT TRICK provides you with some great ideas for easy snacks on-the-go.
Exercise doesn’t have to be done in a gym. HAT TRICK teaches you how to keep it simple and get HAT TRICK fit with at-home workouts. Each exercise can be modified to match your specific needs and abilities.
Enjoy all foods in moderation and use the 80/20 rule. Try to eat nutritious foods 80% of the time and allow yourself anything you like 20% of the time. Plan ahead to identify which will be your “anything” meals and be careful not to over-indulge with a day’s worth of calories.
